You Said – We Did ✅ |

|
We have been listening to concerns raised by the local community and taking action to address the issues affecting you: ⚠️ You said: Anti-social behaviour
✅ We did: Working proactively, we have issued a total of eight Acceptable Behaviour Agreements (ABAs) in conjunction with Kent Police. In addition, several individuals have also been served Community Protection Warnings (CPWs). These measures place clear restrictions on behaviour and provide a framework for enforcement should issues continue. As part of these agreements, conditions have been imposed preventing those involved from entering Gravesend town centre, directly addressing the areas most affected by the reported behaviour. These actions are already helping to reduce incidents and improve the environment for residents, businesses, and visitors. We will continue to monitor those involved and take further action where necessary to ensure the community remains safe and welcoming. 🚗 You said: Nuisance vehicles (e-scooters & e-bikes)
✅ We did: On 06/06/26, as part of a coordinated day of action aligned with National E-Scooter Day, I worked alongside the Roads Policing Unit and Immigration Enforcement in Gravesend town centre. High-visibility foot patrols were conducted, during which several individuals were stopped and multiple e-scooters seized for offences relating to illegal use. Further enforcement activity was carried out on 12/06/26, with officers from Gravesend Community Safety Unit and Special Constabulary conducting targeted patrols across multiple beats. 🚨 GRAVESHAM – NUISANCE VEHICLES – SEIZED 🚔 These operations will continue, and we remain committed to tackling nuisance vehicles and ensuring our roads and public spaces are safe for everyone. 🍺 You said: Alcohol use / street drinking
✅ We did: Officers have been actively engaging with individuals found consuming alcohol in public spaces and taking appropriate action where necessary, including the use of enforcement powers and issuing warnings. These measures are aimed at preventing disorder, reducing anti-social behaviour, and ensuring public areas remain safe and welcoming for everyone. We have also been enforcing the local Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) in place for street drinking. A PSPO allows officers to require individuals to stop drinking alcohol in designated public areas and surrender alcohol where necessary. Where breaches occur, enforcement action can be taken. Officers have utilised these powers to remove alcohol and address behaviour contributing to community concerns. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and carry out regular patrols to address alcohol-related issues and respond to concerns raised by the community. We will continue to act on the concerns you raise. Please keep engaging with us by replying to our posts, reporting issues, and sharing information so we can focus on what matters most to you 🤝 | ||
